Auchen Castle - 16th February 2023 - Joe & Beth

Beth & Joe's wedding day was something out of a fairytale.

Set in a Scottish woodland, Auchen Castle is breathtaking - especially in the February morning fog.

We began the day in the Isla Suite for bridal prep as the ladies were getting ready with hair and make up, over breakfast. Bride Beth was putting finishing touches to her vows as the morning rolled out. Meanwhile Laurence headed out to meet the groomsmen at groom Joe's Papas house not far from Castle Douglas to start on film.

Laurence arrived back just before the guys. Joe drove to the venue in an electric blue Triumph Stag with his Dad. We then headed to the bar for some pre ceremony shots and before long Beth was ready to get into the dress.

The ceremony was magical with personalised vows, Disney music, readings and hand fasting and the cherry on top was the owl that swooped down the aisle carrying the rings!

Boogying back down the aisle as The new Mr & Mrs Berrie to Frozens 'Love is an open door', we headed outside for confetti and family shots. Then we took the Stag down to the lake and had some fun couple portraits on the swing.

Food time was next, then before speeches we snuck off with Beth & Joe up to the top of one of the castle turrets for a few shots in the rain whilst the drone filmed.

The fun didn't stop there - some fantastic speeches were then followed by cake cutting and a choreographed first dance. Beth had planned a surprise flash mob for Joe which was alot of fun to photograph!

We finished the evening off together by dancing in the rain. It was a perfect day from start to finish.

Thank you for having us guys.
